The car with a hitherto unknown name will be completely revealed on May 9. It will join the E-Transit, Ford’s first electric van, and be one of four electric utility vehicles to be introduced by 2024.
–
The details of the powertrain remain a mystery, but there may be a hint that the basic versions of the E-Transit are powered by a 68kWh battery paired with an 181-horsepower electric motor.
–
The new electric car was developed by a separate division of Ford Pro commercial vehicles.
