Ford government backs down and keeps playing fields open | Coronavirus: Ontario

Provincial regulations will be amended to allow the use of playing fields, but outdoor gatherings remain prohibited.

Faced with the uncontrolled rise in COVID-19 cases, Ontario on Friday ordered the population to stay at home for six weeks, severely limiting interprovincial travel and giving more power to the police to enforce health measures.
