Ford Focus after the facelift: Goodbye to the buttons, the sharp ST stays!

Today, the Blue Oval officially represents the rejuvenated version of the fourth-generation Focus. Inside we will find a number of novelties, but not all of them will be considered by motorists as a change for the better.

The fourth successor Ford Focus introduced itself to the world in the spring of 2018, when the Blue Oval celebrated the twentieth anniversary of its cult model. After three and a half years, it was time for a rejuvenation procedure that brought so much news that it would easily put a brand new generation elsewhere.

The list of innovations is opened by a redesigned bow with a more pronounced mask and other bumpers. The goal of the designers was supposedly to make the individual equipment lines – Trend Edition, Titanium, ST-Line – even more different from each other. The offer continues to offer a more adventurous Active concept inspired by the world of crossovers, ie with plastic-coated body parts. This version and the sporty ST-Line can also be supplemented with a Vignale design with rich equipment and a specific appearance of selected elements.

The lighting technology is fully diode. Standard full-LED headlights can be replaced on request with Dynamic Pixel LED technology, which does not dazzle oncoming cars, illuminates corners, adapts to bad weather and follows traffic signs, thus adapting the light to the situation so that the pedestrian or cyclist can see better. The design of the hood has also changed and the carmaker’s logo has moved from its lower part to the mask.
