“Forces Vives de Guinea and Transitional Government Resume Talks on Inter-Guinean Dialogue”


After two weeks, meetings between the Forces Vives de Guinea and the Transitional Government, led by the Prime Minister, resumed on Monday, April 3, 2023 in Conakry. It is within the framework of the continuation of the talks on the process of the transition, in particular the inter-Guinean dialogue.

“A lot of files have been put on the table and we have started the studies. By the grace of God, as the religious are only arbiters, they gave the opportunity for the two parties (Government and Forces Vives editor’s note) to study them. Commitments have been made so that these files will be studied and the next meeting, the in-depth debate begins”, returned Monsignor Jacques Boston.

At the end of these exchanges which lasted for hours, the spokesperson for the circumstance mentioned that the next stage will consist of the debates around these files whose content has not been revealed.
