The incident took place in Ramnagar, Tikamgarh, Madhya Pradesh, on 7 December 2021.

According to Jatara Police Station Chief Trivendra Trivedi, a resident approached the 26-year-old victim on Sunday, complaining that his 24-year-old wife had cut off his genitals.
The victim admitted that he tried to have sexual relations against his wife’s wishes.
Trivedi said the couple, who married in 2019, had separated because of an argument. However, they soon reconciled.
“The man filed a pending complaint because he had to undergo surgery. A case for causing injury by weapons or dangerous means has been registered and an investigation has been launched,” Trivedi was quoted as saying. Times of India, Friday (17/12/2021).
