Cristiano Ronaldo (36) and Lionel Messi (34) remain financially the measure of all things in world football even after their spectacular club changes.

The Portuguese superstar receives after returning to Manchester United, according to the Forbes-Magazine $ 125 million annually, equivalent to just under 107 million euros. Permanent rival Messi, now in the service of Paris St. Germain, earns “only” around 94 million euros per year.

Lewandowski in Forbes list only on six
In terms of annual salary, Messi (64 million euros) is ahead of Ronaldo (60 million euros), but CR7 collects around 17 million euros more from advertising income. Behind Messi in third and fourth are his PSG strike partners Neymar (81 million) and Kylian Mbappe (37 million). Andres Iniesta, who is now 37, also appears in the top 10 of the US business magazine’s list. The 2010 world champion’s contract with the Japanese first division club Vissel Kobe is endowed with 26 million euros per year.
