Forbes billionaire ratings now feature six Ukrainians while Kolomoisky is identified as an Israeli national.

The current rating of billionaires, compiled by the American business publication Forbes, includes six Ukrainian businessmen. This is reported on the website. Forbes.

As in previous years, the highest place among Ukrainians in the Forbes world ranking is occupied by the owner of SCM (DTEK, Metinvest, HarvEast) Rinat Akhmetov. He is located in 445th place with a fortune of $ 5.7 billion. The publication increased the estimate of the billionaire’s assets over the year – last year his fortune was estimated at $ 4.2 billion.

Forbes placed Victor Pinchuk (Interpipe, PinchukArtCenter Starlight Media) in 1434th place with an estimated assets of $2.1 billion. The publication this year estimated Pinchuk’s fortune at $0.2 billion higher than last year.

In 2020, the rating is occupied by the ex-people’s deputy and Akhmetov’s partner in the metallurgical business Vadim Novinsky (Smart Holding) with a fortune of $1.4 billion (+ $0.1 billion compared to last year). Novinsky has been under Ukrainian sanctions since December 2022.

The fortune of Konstantin Zhevago (Ferrexpo), who ranks 2133rd, was estimated at $1.3 billion (as in 2022). On December 27, he was detained at the ski resort of Courchevel in the French Alps at the request of the Ukrainian side in the case of a possible embezzlement of funds from the Finance and Credit Bank, but France refused to extradite him.

The rating also includes partners in the Privat group Gennady Bogolyubov (he is in 2405th place with a fortune of $1.1 billion in 2022 and 2023, unchanged) and Igor Kolomoisky (with a fortune of $1 billion in 2022 and 2023, no change).

Kolomoisky is on the list at 2540th place and is listed as a representative of Israel. In 2022, it was reported that Kolomoisky was likely stripped of his Ukrainian citizenship. At the same time, in December 2022, the Forbes Ukraine publication claimed that the businessman had left the list of dollar billionaires, since as a result of the war in Ukraine his fortune had fallen to $0.85 billion.
