This is the first exhibition of Russian military equipment destroyed in Ukraine outside Ukraine, NATO and the European Union (EU).
The opening of the exhibition was attended by the Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Anna Malara, who thanked Poland for its support in the war. “We want to show that Russian tanks can only enter Europe through our territory as exhibits. Ukraine has already proved to be a reliable European shield in the east,” said Malara.
Mihal Dvorchik, head of the Polish prime minister’s office, said: “This exhibition proves that Russia can be defeated.”
The exhibition will be on view in Warsaw until July 6, after which it will be shown in other Polish cities.
The exposition shows the Russian tank T72B, which was destroyed on March 31 near Kiev, self – propelled artillery equipment “Msta-S” neutralized in the Sumy area, and “Hurricane”, “Smerč” missile shells.
