Theagreement between the Liguria Region and general practitioners (Fimmg; Snami; Smi; Cisl Medici; Fp Cgil Medici; Simet; Sumai). The agreement provides for general practitioners to carry out some activities from next week:
• The reservation for seniors over 80 years of age for the administration in the structures of the health companies of mRNA vaccines and, in the subsequent phase, for the patients who will be indicated by the Region / Companies;
• The administration of the AstraZeneca vaccine (currently available) to subjects between 18 and 65 years old (and no longer 55 following the determination of Aifa) without serious pathologies, its patients, or other vaccines that will become available (also at the patient’s home).
• Participation as members of the vaccination teams for administration at the facilities of the Health Authorities of anti Covid-19 vaccines to enhance vaccination capacity in the area.

General practitioners will collaborate in the booking and administration of vaccines, also integrating the teams operating in the vaccination centers

The agreement also provides that the general practitioner collaborates in the identification and booking in Phase 2 of their patients belonging to categories 1 (vulnerable, ultra-serious comorbidities) and 4 (increased risk, comorbidities), indicating to the Health Authorities those non-ambulatory subjects for whom vaccination must be performed at home.
In addition, general practitioners will be able to collaborate – on a voluntary basis and for collaborative purposes, for favor the streamlining of administrative / bureaucratic procedures related to the administration of the vaccine at the local structures – alla compilation of the medical history form that the patient will have to submit to the vaccination point at the time of vaccine administration.
