For the third time in history, Italian volleyball players win the European Championship

Italian volleyball players were also crowned champions in 2007 and 2009, winning a total of eight medals. The Serbs are the 2011, 2017 and 2019 champions.

Before that, the bronze is played Turkey with the result 3-0 (25:20, 25:19, 25:23) won the Netherlands. The most productive player of the match with 14 points was the Dutch Anne Beisa, but the Turkish hands Hande Baladina and Ebrars Karakurta scored 13 points.

The final of the European Championship with 24 national teams took place in Serbia, Bulgaria, Croatia and Romania.
