An annual career fair was held at the Medical Corps of the University “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov”. The initiator of the event is the Faculty of Technical Sciences, on the idea of Associate Professor Adriana Georgieva, head of the Department of Chemical Technologies.
The event was opened by Prof. Irena Markovska, deputy. rector for quality of education, accreditation and personnel, Prof. Sevdalina Turmanova, deputy. rector for academic activities, associate professor Yancho Hristov, dean of the Faculty of Technical Sciences (FTN) and associate professor Ivaylo Belovski, deputy dean of FTN.
“Dear students, today you have the opportunity to meet representatives of serious business in Burgas. My advice to you is to use this opportunity,” said Prof. Irena Markovska, deputy. rector for quality of education, accreditation and personnel.
She assured the business that the students of the University “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov” are quality people and specialists.
“I am extremely glad that the annual exchange of the Faculty of Technical Sciences continues to be a place where Burgas business meets higher education,” were the words of Prof. Sevdalina Turmanova, deputy. rector of academic activities.
Associate Professor Adriana Georgieva expressed her gratitude to the business for once again joining the initiative, which is now becoming an annual event.
She shared that the goal is to popularize the majors and support the realization of students, as well as to support and strengthen the relationship between the academic environment and business.
The career fair was aimed at students from professional fields of higher education “Technical Sciences”, Faculty of Technical Sciences.
The event was attended by students and doctoral students from the majors: “Electronics, Electrical Engineering and Automation”, “Communication and Computer Engineering”, “Transport, Shipping and Aviation”, “Materials and Materials Science”, “Chemical Technologies” and “Biotechnologies”.
Teachers and key employers took part in the career fair, including “Ribex Trading” OOD, “Promet Steel” EAD, “BMF Port Burgas”, “Elkabel” AD, “ENSI Control” EOOD, “Technologica – Burgas” and “Lukoil Neftohim” Burgas” JSC.
The event was honored by the “Regional Employment Service” Directorate and the Regional Center for the Development of the Social Economy – Burgas under the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy.
