LFF Coaches Council and Latvian Football Championship nominated Tolu Arokodari (“Valmiera”), Krišu Kārkliņš (“Valmiera”), Žiga Lipušček (RFS), Roberts Ozols (“Riga”) and Lukas Vilelu (“Ventspils”).

Arokodare is one of the brightest stars of the Latvian championship. The 19-year-old from Nigeria has already scored 15 goals. August was a particularly successful attacker. He stood out with eight goals.

The whole “Valmiera” team had a month rich in points. Perth’s subordinates won five games in the six games of August, fought once in a draw and strengthened in the third position of the Optibet Super League.

The best of the month – Arokodare and Perth – will be congratulated with commemorative prizes.

Candidates for the Best Footballer of the Month award are nominated by the LFF Coaches Council and the Latvian Football Super League, followed by a vote of Latvian sports journalists and fans on the social networks “Facebook” and “Twitter”, while the LFF Coaches Council is responsible for determining the best coach.

Arokodare won for the second month in a row, with Oleg Kononov from the “Riga” team triumphing in July, but in June RFS midfielder Emerson Santana Deuslesian and RFS team head coach Viktors Morozs were recognized as the best.
