Sadio Mane reveal the situation in Liverpool. The 30-year-old attacker said he was ready to leave if many Senegalese wanted him.
Mane has one year remaining on his Liverpool contract. Reportedly, the player who was bought from Southampton chose to withdraw this summer.
Bayern Munich reportedly already interested in recruiting him. Sadio Mane himself is also claimed to be interested in moving to Germany.
In his latest interview, Sadio Mane admitted that he will decide his future according to the wishes of the Senegalese people. He himself said that as many as 60-70 percent of the Senegalese people wanted him to leave Liverpool.
“60-70 percent of the people of Senegal want me to leave Liverpool? I will do what they ask. We’ll see,” he said, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Sadio Mane has been Liverpool’s mainstay since being bought from Southampton in 2016. He has scored 120 goals in 269 appearances.
Sadio Mane can present six trophies for Liverpool. He brought the Premier League title, Champions League, Club World Cup, European Super Cup and two most recent titles, the FA Cup and the English League Cup.
