The city of Bern pays 50,000 francs a year for YB fan work
In order to prevent violence and racism in the YB fan environment, the Bern fan work association is to receive a total of 200,000 francs from the city over the next four years.

The city of Bern is renewing the performance agreement with the Bern fan work association for the years 2022 and 2023 with an optional two-year extension. This means that fan work will continue to be supported with an annual contribution of 50,000. In this context, the municipal council approved a commitment loan totaling CHF 200,000, as announced on Thursday.
Fan work Bern is involved with the Bern football club Young Boys. The club works to prevent violence and racism, is the point of contact for the security bodies and has a de-escalating effect on fans who are prepared to use violence.
