It has always been difficult to get interest-free installments when buying Apple products, especially iPhones. Even if a bank launches iPhone for Life, you must first get interest-free installments. However, there seem to be more opportunities for interest-free installments this year. In August, Alipay HK collaborated with Ant Bank and Bank of China (Hong Kong) to cooperate with Apple, and for a limited time, purchases at the Apple Store were eligible for 12-month interest-free installments. Alipay HK may not be used by everyone, but just like HSBC, many people use it. Recently, they have launched interest-free installment plans, which is really rare! If you want to know the details, read below!
HSBC launches “My Installment Plan”
HSBC has launched a one-stop installment plan management platform “My Installments” on Reward+, their credit card information app platform, to manage installment plans. As long as you are an HSBC credit card customer, you can use “My Installment Plan” manages all their credit card installments, checks the installment progress and schedule, and customizes a name for the plan.
Two major bonus offers, enjoy up to 6% rebate + 6-month interest-free installment
In addition to launching new features, HSBC has also launched two major discounts to grab customers:
001: From now until January 31, 2024, HSBC credit card customers will receive one stamp for every new credit card installment plan they create, and $100 “reward money” for every two stamps.
002: From now until November 30, 2023, after cardholders register on the Reward+ app and spend with HSBC credit cards through Apple Pay at Apple Stores and online stores, they can getadditionalUp to 6% rebate, you can get up to $400 in reward money, and you can get a one-time full handling fee rebate by using this consumption as a 6-month spending installment, which is equivalent to an interest-free and handling fee-free installment.
I have seen a comparison of HSBC credit cards in the market, and the one with the highest spending rebates should be the HSBC Red credit card. The first $12,500 spent online has up to 4% spending rebate, and there is no upper limit to earn 1% rebate on subsequent online purchases. With no annual fee forever, you can use Apple Pay to make purchases at Apple Stores, saving up to $677. If you refer to the rebates of other bank credit cards in the market, in fact, the MMPower World Mastercard of Hang Seng Bank can enjoy a 5% rebate, and the monthly rebate limit is $800. If you want to top it, use the MMPower World Mastercard to get as much as you want.
