KEDIRI, Radar Bangsa.co.id – After receiving complaints from residents of Kedungmalang Village, Papar District, Kediri Regency, East Java, regarding the outbreak of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF), members of the NasDem Party faction of the Kediri Regency DPRD, Sunday, December 5, 2021, carried out social service activities in the form of fogging.
Chairman of the DPD NasDem Party of Kediri Regency, Drs. H. Lutfi Mahmudiono, confirmed through the Deputy Chair of OKK, Khusnul Arif, S.Sos said that this fogging activity was a collaboration between the NasDem Party of Kediri Regency and the DPC of Papar District and the Kedungmalang Village Government to anticipate the attack of Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) in the environment. local.
“This activity is to follow up on reports of 3-4 cases of DHF in Kedungmalang Village which occurred approximately two weeks ago. We are trying to prevent dengue fever, considering that it is now the rainy season,” he said.
The member of Commission IV of the Kediri Regency DPRD, who is familiarly called Mas Pipin, also revealed that in carrying out this social service in Kedungmalang Village, his party deployed four fogging machines and six personnel, as well as assisted by dozens of administrators of the DPC and DPRt of the NasDem Party in Papar District.
“We carried out fogging for two days door to door, and places that usually become mosquito nests in the yard and along the Kedungmalang Village road. Hopefully, the fogging will eradicate the mosquitoes here, and no residents will get dengue fever,” he said.
Mas Pipin also appealed to the public to pay attention to environmental cleanliness and to promote the 3M Mosquito Nest Eradication (PSN) movement to prevent dengue fever in their respective homes.
“We invite all residents wherever they are to maintain cleanliness in their respective homes and the surrounding environment, as well as regularly drain or clean clean water reservoirs on a regular basis. Closing water reservoirs and burying or recycling various used goods that have the potential to become mosquito breeding grounds, such as used cans and so on,” he appealed.
Meanwhile, the Head of Kedungmalang Village, Edi Sumitro, said the fogging was carried out in two hamlets, namely Kedungmalang and Sukodono hamlets with a population of around 2000 people. Meanwhile, the current condition of the four residents affected by DHF have improved their health.
The head of RT 3 RW 2 Kedungmalang Village, Pusporini, expressed his appreciation for the social service fogging activities of the NasDem Party in his neighborhood.
