Thoughts are divided about Latvians’ sense of humor – some say that it is quite sad, others think that Latvians understand jokes well.
Either way, the culture of stand-up comedy is evolving at home. This is also evidenced by the fact that this year, for the first time in Latvia, the stand-up comedy award “Rake” will be presented.
What will the prize look like, or will it be a real rake for today? Edgars Žukovskis, the head of Comedy Latvia, and comedians Kalvis Troska and Jānis Kreičmanis answered these and other questions in “900 seconds”.
