For the first time, the 100% electric Volkswagen ID.3 “> will be on display at the Auto 2020 exhibition
From September 25 to 27, a special edition of the international car industry exhibition “Auto 2020” will take place in Ķīpsala. Brand within the exhibition Volkswagen will introduce the new, 100% electric and carbon neutral ID.3 1st Edition car. This will be the first time in Latvia ID.3 the model is available for wider viewing.
ID.3 1stThe exclusive model is equipped with a 58 kWh battery with a single charge mileage of up to 420 km (WLTP), which generates 150 kW (204 PS) and provides a maximum torque of 310 Nm. For all ID.3 The batteries have an eight-year or 160,000 km factory warranty.
Already basic ID.3 1st version is very well equipped, including front seat and steering wheel heating, fast charging with 100 kW direct current (DC) or 11 kW alternating current, natural voice control and ID. Light – an intelligent system that visually communicates with the driver and assists in the driving process as well as in the use of navigation. In addition ID.3 1st is a smart on-the-go assistant with Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC), Lane Keeping Assist Lane Assist, frontal collision warning assistant Front Assist, parking distance control and dynamic road sign recognition system.
Within the exhibition Volkswagen will present directly to ID.3 1st Plus version equipped with rear view camera, keyless access and engine start system in addition to the powerful basic equipment Keyless Advanced, Matrix LED headlamps and rear lamps LED headlights with dynamic turn signal, as well as many other powerful functions.
As previously reported, exclusive ID.3 1st cars intended for the Baltic market are already being delivered to the owners, but pre-sale will start in Latvia very soon ID.3 series models.
ID.3 and the first Volkswagen ID. model Saeima model, which initiates the brand’s mission to provide electromobility for everyone at an affordable price. This model also sets new sustainability standards – production is carbon neutral, which means that cars are delivered to customers without negative effects on the environment. Volkswagen has created the first cost-effective and affordable electric car that is environmentally friendly throughout its life cycle because it does not emit CO2 emissions, both in the production and operation process, if the customer charges with environmentally friendly electricity.

Judging by the information available on the BT1 page, it could also be the only object worth seeing at this exhibition this year, apart from the Blue Shock Race electric karts and the restored cars offered by Autoclassic.lv. Compared to other years, this exhibition looks very empty.
Either way, looking at ID.3 in person could be really interesting. One could find out if this is really the case, as VW says that the exterior dimensions of it are like the Golf, but the internal dimensions are like the Passat.
