There will be no legionnaires in the match of tonight’s Continental Hockey League (KHL) between Minsk “Dinamo” and Yaroslavl “Lokomotiv”, the unit’s press service reports.

Due to the positive results of the Covid-19 tests, the team will not be able to be assisted by strikers Rob Clinkhammer, Brandon Kozun and Francis Paré, as well as goalkeeper Dominik Furh. Goalkeeper Denny Taylor, strikers Ryan Spooner and Shen Prince, as well as defenders Brenan Menel and Adam Almqvist, will also not help the team.

“This is a very interesting moment,” comments Craig Woodcroft, Dinamo’s head coach, who also had to spend two weeks in self-isolation. “The most important thing is that the team has a great opportunity to show themselves and test their strength in the fight against a strong opponent. The match against Lokomotiv will take place tonight at 19:10 Latvian time. The victory in both regular and overtime will allow Dinamo to overtake the Yaroslavl unit and take third place in the conference.
