In one of the largest Thracian tombs discovered so far in Bulgaria, the new unique addition to the rich program palette of the Thracian Mysteries Festival 2024 will be presented – the interactive spectacle “Kabir Mysteries”.
The place of the event is precisely the ancient domed tomb near the city of Pomorie, known as the “Hollow Mound”. Time – August 31, 21:00. The event is supported by the Historical Museum – Pomorie and is organized in partnership with it.
With its epic drama and music, exquisite choreography, stately Thracian robes and authentic insignia of the Thracian priest-kings, the interactive performances intertwine the diverse forms of millennia-old Orphic art, belief and ritual, hiding many ancient secrets. The Thracian Mysteries Festival is the fruit of the long-term work of the Orfika Academy and its like-minded people and is gaining more and more love in the hearts of true connoisseurs and seekers of native history. Orfika Academy events leave a mark on the inner world of the attendees that reverberates for a lifetime.
The latest mystery from the fourth season of the Festival, which every year unfolds at more and more emblematic historical and archaeological sites in Bulgaria, will immerse visitors in the mystical world of the Thracian epic and the Orphic tradition, in collaboration with the Procession of the Entourage of the Great Dion – the worthy Kabirs, guardians of the ancient runic script, triumphing and creating in the Sun.

The last and culminating event in the program of the Thracian Mysteries Festival 2024 is coming up on September 29 in the Ancient Theater of Plovdiv and, as always, is eagerly awaited by loyal fans and the newest friends of the project. The program on the final festival day will unfold from the early afternoon with numerous interactive formats until the evening hours, when visitors will witness the grand spectacle “Thracian Mystery Drama”.
