What was complicated was finding the time to write the book. We were pushed by the publisher (De Borée, editor’s note) but we ended up well.

Readers who know Christian Fazzino well, like Catherine and Dominique, appreciated the book, while noting that certain aspects of the petanque player’s life were missing. “It will be for the second! “says the couple, laughing.
I’m thinking about it. The book only focused on the big stuff, while I also had a lot of anecdotes from my youth. Sometimes I remember more of that than major competitions or titles.

Always a matter of time
Christian Fazzino specifies, however, that this second work is not on the agenda, because it is difficult to reconcile writing and petanque.
It takes a lot of time. We have more ideas in the book than in competition. Sometimes we try to find memories that hurt, like deaths and that we don’t necessarily want to think about.

While waiting for a possible return to writing, Christian Fazzino is happy to share the great moments of his career with his friends, his readers and the many Montluçonnais who came to show him their admiration during this signing session.
Christian Fazzino will again be signing in Montluçon during the Fair in October, on the La Montagne stand. The date is yet to be determined.
