Mexico City. For the fifth consecutive day, employees of the Judiciary have continued their protests against the reform in this area, and their presence in the Senate of the Republic – where they are holding a sit-in – has been reduced, since around 150 employees are concentrated at doors 5 and 6 of the legislative building.
Workers from different parts of the country are expected to arrive at the camp during the day to reinforce their protests and to keep watch, as they are being relieved every third day.

Yesterday, contingents from Michoacán, Guanajuato, San Luis Potosí, Zacatecas and Oaxaca, among other states, arrived, in addition to workers from the Judicial Branch of Mexico City who marched from the Angel of Independence and joined the protests in the Senate.
This Saturday, workers in the judicial sector are demonstrating intermittently on Paseo de la Reforma, near Paris Street. As the traffic light turns red, they stand on the road and protest with rattles, horns and waving Mexican flags against the reform that proposes the election of ministers, judges and magistrates by popular vote.
The tents remain set up on the sidewalk, from door 5 to door 6 of the Senate.
Interviewed workers do not rule out some mobilization during the day, “but everything depends on how the contingents from other states arrive.”
