The Hochschule für Gestaltung (HfG) in Offenbach receives additional money from the state of Hesse for the planned new building at the port.
The Hochschule für Gestaltung (HfG) will receive a further 50 million euros from the state of Hesse for the planned new building at the port. This is announced by the Offenbach office of the Hessian Minister of Economics Tarek Al-Wazir (Greens).
Specifically, the university is to receive 50 million euros from the third round of the Heureka university building program. This should enable the new building at the port. It also gives the university planning security for the next few years and the opportunity to continue investing in good teaching and research.
The implementation of the new HfG building was decided in 2015, and the corresponding purchase contracts for the property were signed last year. The renewed injection of money from the country should help to cover cost increases and ensure that the new building can be completed.
This year, the HfG is celebrating its 50th anniversary as a university in the State of Hesse.
