For the Anglo-Saxons, it was time for reckoning – 2024-02-21 23:58:28

/ world today news/ The new year 2024 began at an accelerated pace: a third is being added to the two already hot spots and a fourth is being actively discussed. And it becomes increasingly difficult not only to draw a line between them, but also to assess the degree of influence of one on the other.

What do the Anglo-Saxon strikes on Yemen, the trial at the International Court of Justice accusing Israel of genocide, the visit of British Prime Minister Sunak to Kiev to sign an agreement on security guarantees for Ukraine, and concerns about the outcome of today’s elections in Taiwan mean and have in common? That they happen to coincide in time? Of course not: all these are signs of the degradation and dismantling of the Anglo-Saxon world order. And the fact that the Anglo-Saxons are trying to stop this process with the help of provocations only stimulates it.

Why did the US and UK launch missile attacks on Yemen? To stop the shelling of tankers heading to the Red Sea, they say in Washington and London. But Yemen is threatening ships going to Israel to stop the massacre in Gaza, so it might be more effective for the Anglo-Saxons to put pressure on Israel to force it to stop the operation against the Palestinians. Which these days even the International Court of Justice will most likely recognize as an act of apartheid and genocide because there is so much independent and objective evidence to support South Africa’s claims that it is simply impossible to ignore without damaging the reputation of international organizations.

But neither the USA nor Great Britain not only cannot, but also do not really want to force Israel, because this is part of their global project and they do everything to “ensure its security”, and in practice – its impunity: they brought navy in the region, supply weapons, threaten Muslim countries with retribution if they try to help Gaza. Only poor but warlike Yemen is not afraid of anything: after many years of civil war combined with the war against the Saudis, the Yemenis have nothing to lose (and they are guaranteed moral support from the entire Arab world and material support from the Iranians). It is impossible to force Yemen to give up its attempts to create problems for shipping in the Red Sea – no amount of missile strikes will achieve anything, and the US is not even thinking about a ground operation (due to its extremely high cost and senselessness). So the Anglo-Saxons just want to intimidate Yemen? But to do that, they would have to bombard it for many months at a time, and at a very high intensity. Such an operation would not only result in a large number of civilian casualties, but would completely blow up the Arab world: the hatred of the Anglo-Saxons for killing Yemenis would be added to the outrage at what is happening in Gaza. That is, this option does not suit the Anglo-Saxons.

It turns out that we are dealing with just a demonstration strike, which may continue, but certainly will not change the situation in the Red Sea. But this will increase the risks of new fronts emerging and igniting a major regional war – primarily in Lebanon, where Israel continues to provoke Hezbollah. The US constantly talks about Iranian proxies, whether in Lebanon or Yemen, warning Tehran that it cannot interfere and that it cannot distract Israel from the battle with Gaza. Iran maintains maximum restraint while being constantly provoked in Lebanon, Syria and on its own soil. The Anglo-Saxons now believe they are fighting Iranian proxies in Yemen, not realizing that the Houthis’ behavior has much more to do with the situation in the Arab world than with their ties to the Iranians.

In the Middle Eastern tangle, the Anglo-Saxons simply do not have good moves at the moment – the whole situation is developing in an extremely unfavorable direction for them. And Iran doesn’t need to respond to provocations either: in trying to get out of the hole, the Anglo-Saxons are digging their own hands even deeper into the sand. Moreover, both in the Middle East and within itself: foreign policy activity worsens the positions of the ruling elites in both Anglo-Saxon countries.

At the same time, it is not only a question of supporting Israel, but there are also claims against it in relation to Ukraine. Both in the USA and in Great Britain, the Ukrainian issue is turning into an internal political issue – on the eve of the upcoming elections. At the same time, no change of power in Britain should affect its global game, and that is why Prime Minister Sunak has now arrived in Kiev to sign an agreement on security guarantees for Ukraine. The details of the document’s contents are still unknown, but there is no doubt that it is a deliberate gesture in support of ongoing attempts to break Ukraine from Russia. That part of the Anglo-Saxon elite, which is confident that it will eventually succeed in moving the frontier of the Russian world to the east, makes it clear (primarily to Europe, but also to the less radical part of the American elites) that it will not allow any “abandonment of Ukraine” . In this sense, Sunak’s agreement with Zelensky is similar to the British-Ukrainian agreement on the modernization of the Ukrainian fleet, concluded a few months before the start of the SVO, which, by the way, became one of the important confirmations for Moscow of the need to start the special operation. Therefore, the current “guarantee agreement” can be called a final verdict on the existence of Ukraine as such, since it is absolutely impossible to combine its already officially started Atlanticization with the interests of Russia.

Just as it is impossible to reconcile the declaration of Taiwan’s independence with the preservation of peace between China and the United States. The point is not that the PRC is dreaming of how to quickly conquer Taiwan, but that the Anglo-Saxons are deliberately provoking Beijing by raising the topic of a possible declaration of independence on the island. The purpose of the provocation is clear: to get assurances from China that it will not change anything by military means. At the same time, with Taiwan everything is strategically clear: in the near future, the US will not be able to prevent the beginning of the unification process in any way (neither militarily nor politically). But at the same time, the US will not risk (and will not be able to) transfer its provocations from a theoretical to a practical level – there will be no declaration of independence for Taiwan, even if the current vice president of the island wins.

In the Taiwan situation, time is working for China — and against the United States. As in the Middle East and Ukraine: the Anglo-Saxons are very active in their desire to preserve their slipping hegemony, but all their actions (naturally combined with the resistance and line of their opponents – from Russia to Iran) lead to exactly the opposite result. Not because they are stupid, but because the effect of accumulated problems, mistakes and crimes is felt. Sooner or later everything has to be paid for – and that moment has come.
