The presence of a new owner makes Newcastle United expected to start an ambitious project. As a start, Newcastle is recommended to buy Aaron Ramsey and Philippe Coutinho.
Newcastle United was officially acquired by a consortium belonging to Saudi Arabia’s Prince Mohammed bin Salman last week. 80% of Newcastle’s shares are now owned by the Public Investment Fund (PIF), while the remaining 20% is divided equally between Amanda Staveley and the Reuben brothers.
This take over practically makes The Toon the richest club in the world. It’s okay, they now have PIF support which has assets of more than IDR 6,000 Trillion!
Newcastle United is expected to follow in the footsteps of Chelsea and Manchester City, which have risen in prominence since being acquired by wealthy businessmen. It’s only a matter of time before Newcastle start building a classy squad.
Former Aston Villa striker Gabriel Agbonlahor suggested Newcastle United sign two players who are familiar with the Premier League first. They are Aaron Ramsey and Philippe Coutinho.
Incidentally, Ramsey and Coutinho are having a bad moment at their respective clubs, namely Juventus and Barcelona. Newcastle is not even believed to have to spend too much money to bring in these two top players.
