For several days, Occitania plays its all out in the United States: here is what is planned

At the end of February and the beginning of March, which is coming, the United States and Occitania are (very) closely linked: the region is playing its all!

When it comes to wine, Occitania is putting its pawns in the land of Uncle Sam. At the end of February and a few more days during the month of March, the economic development agency AD’OCC is carrying out several missions.

46 producers linked with 70 importers

From February 27 to March 1, Occitanie is first at the heart of a prospecting mission crossing the Atlantic, called “Sud de France Calling”. Lasting three days, it connects 46 producers in the region with 70 importers from 20 American states and four Canadian provinces. Upstream of this link, a presentation of the markets was made by the experts of this AD’OCC agency.

And immediately New York

On the first day of the mission, everything was played out in the Maison de la Région Occitanie in New York. From Monday evening, meetings with buyers started. Networking dinners and mini-fairs also punctuate these three days which aim to offer new outlets to producers in our region.

Another date in March

The AD’OCC agency will make the pleasure last in the United States, since it will participate in the Vinexpo America trade show on March 8 and 9. This is the first show reserved for professionals in North America. A 100m² stand will offer a tasting area.

The flagship cuvées of Occitan exporters will be promoted. A networking event is also scheduled at the Maison de la Région in New York. In other words, very good springboards for Occitan producers!
