‘For Senna and for Brazil’

Lewis Hamilton, Mercedes driver, had a great showing today at the Brazilian Grand Prix of Formula 1, won the race after starting in 10th place, and dedicated the victory to his idol, Ayrton Senna and “to Brazil”.

After crossing the checkered flag, Lewis Hamilton imitated the gesture that Ayrton Senna always made in his victories when walking with the car displaying the Brazilian flag. In addition, Hamilton took the flag to the podium and got involved in it. On social networks, the pilot posted photos of the moment and reinforced his admiration for Senna and his affection for Brazil.

In another post, the pilot also praised his relationship with Brazil, in Portuguese, and wrote:

“I LOVE BRAZIL. I felt the energy of these people pushing me through the race, and it made all the difference. It’s not easy to start with a 25-place penalty, but EVERYTHING is possible when you believe. we didn’t stop. SEE YOU NEXT WEEK!”.

It is noteworthy that, in addition to idolizing Ayrton Senna, Lewis Hamilton is good friends with Brazilian surfer Gabriel Medina and Neymar, attending the same parties and events.

The next Formula 1 race is in Qatar next Sunday at 11am.
