Through the gigson.live platform, the interpreter of Saped like never before took place for 1h15 from an undisclosed location for a tube festival: de Bella at My direction Passing by So far, so good, the 34-year-old singer has performed his most iconic songs as well as those of Sexion Assault, the group that made him known. Gims also defended his latest album The scourge, released on December 4th, certified gold in 10 days.
Soon back on stage
These virtual concerts, acclaimed by many artists like Dua Lipa and Billie Eilish in recent months, offer the possibility of interacting with the public. What Gims did not deprive himself: by interposed screens, he answered questions from some of his fans.
It is not yet known how many people have connected to attend this virtual concert, whose ticket cost just under 10 euros, but its producer was hoping for at least 100,000 spectators around the world.
Because Gims, with 5 million records sold over the course of his career, is one of the biggest names on the current French scene. And the one who filled the Stade de France last year should quickly find the concert halls: Sexion d’Assault has announced its reformation for an event tour, which will kick off in July 2021.
