For God’s sake, brothers, don’t pull! –

/ world today news/ In 1991, when the government deregulated prices, Prime Minister Dimitar Popov exclaimed: “For God’s sake, brothers, don’t buy!”. Sometimes jokingly, sometimes not exactly, I will also exclaim: “For God’s sake, brothers, don’t draw!”.

After conservators entered KTB and the bank was placed under special supervision, everyone is wondering if this could happen to other banks as well. The truth is that there is no danger. Panic is unnecessary. As they say – don’t worry, the knife is made of wood.

KTB was placed under supervision because of something that was heard in the public space – huge financial resources, measured in 9 figures, have left the bank. Make no mistake – it was not the queue of 50 people in front of KTB that led to a lack of liquidity in the fourth largest banking institution in our country, namely that huge financial flows were directed elsewhere.

There can be no bankruptcy of FIB. There can be no bankruptcy in other banks. Why? It’s simple. When there was a series of bank failures in the 1990s, it happened because the banks then became entangled in a series of relationships, credits and dependencies. Now there are actually no financial dependencies between the banks. The temporary closure of KTB does not lead to a lack of money in any other bank outside of it. The only panic before the banks is that which can be artificially generated. A nefarious group of people with common interests emerges and begins to vilify the bank. All kinds of methods are used – from sending anonymous texts, through e-mails, and even to media publications. Apparently we are very easy to manipulate.

A businessman has millions of loans in a bank and lives with the dream that if it goes bankrupt, he will not pay them back. He buys a list of citizens’ emails (yes, they sell), he buys a list of phone numbers (yes, they sell), he pays for one or two juicy publications in convenient media, and we all line up in front of the bank to withdraw our money .

I’m just wondering if tomorrow someone sent you a text or email inviting you to jump from a high place because life on Earth is coming to an end anyway, would there be lines on the stairwells of the buildings? Why are you tying yourself to some drowning men who are rocking the whole boat in order to drown us all, so that they can grab hold of our lifeless bodies and swim to shore?

And when you withdraw your money from the stable banking institution, where will you put it? Under the mattress? In “Burkan Bank”? And you’d rather expose your money to thieves than keep it in the bank? Because someone sent a text that your bank is going bankrupt? Doesn’t it sound crazy to get attached to such nonsense?

I don’t fall for such numbers. I will not withdraw my money from the bank because the bank will not fail. Ya, take it easy! Don’t buy into the propaganda of a few “drowned men” who will have a fight with the justice system because of this party that only scares people.

Instead of going to the bank, I suggest you go to the supermarket and buy some popcorn to watch the show. After all, there is a queue in front of the supermarket too, don’t you believe that the stores will also go bankrupt?
