For Earth Day, the spinoff series of ‘We are made this way’ and the videos ‘Save the planet’

The fiftieth anniversary of the Earth Day, an increasingly important event to raise awareness of issues related to ecology and the environment. A message that has a lot of grip on the little ones but that is fundamental become for them, citizens of tomorrow, a completely natural way of behavior. For this reason, the ‘Save the planet’ campaign has been launched. Become a hero, on the channels for the very young Boing (channel 40 of the DTT) and Cartoonito (channel 46 of the DTT), a series of ten animated music clips with the aim of sensitizing younger viewers about the environment. Themes like smog, energy and water waste, overheating, waste, deforestation, consumerism and pollution become rap or hip hop songs where we can recognize ourselves in simple but fundamental gestures like remembering to turn off the tap while we wash the teeth or turn off the bulb when leaving a room.

It takes so little to be an environmental hero. But to go a little deeper there are two series: a brand new one Meteoheroes and the other spinoff of the cult series That’s how we are done, which always features the white-bearded Master who this time, however, leads the boys into the secrets of our planet, Once upon a time … the earth.

Meteoheroes

Of Meteoheroes, on Boing and Cartoonito at 7.40 pm, the first episodes of the animated series will be aired, which tackles the theme of climate change and the importance of respecting nature through the stories of six children with incredible superpowers. The protagonists are Pluvia, Nubes, Fulmen, Nix, Ventum and Thermo who on the day of their tenth birthday discover that they have special powers. They can make rain and snow fall, throw lightning and make thunder ring, unleash the wind, heat the earth and melt the ice. Soon the team finds itself in a central futuristic where the artificial intelligence Tempus, led by scientists and meteorologists of the CEM – Weather Expert Center – will train them to control their powers by transforming the group into the MeteoHeroes. CEM is an international structure managed by the scientist Margherita Rita, a name that pays homage to two great female scientists: Margherita Hack and Rita Levi Montalcini.
