HALL (TELEMUNDO ATLANTA) .- A Hispanic woman from the city of Gainesville is behind bars, in Hall County, after being accused of charges of electronic sexual exploitation of a minor.
The County Sheriff’s Office said they received a tip about the alleged illicit activities of 21-year-old Maria Gomez Lucas.
The sheriff and state authorities that combat the sexual exploitation of minors on the internet began their investigation of Gómez Lucas, on February 16, and found that the woman had and had distributed through Messenger, a video of a minor being abused sexually.
The sheriff said more charges could be brought against Gomez Lucas, depending on the investigations.
