Founded in 1921, the CSN is a trade union organization working for a united, democratic, just, equitable and sustainable society.
It is made up of nearly 1,600 unions and brings together more than 330,000 workers united on a sectoral or professional basis in eight federations, as well as on a regional basis in thirteen central councils, mainly in Quebec, but also throughout Canada.
