The Minister of National Education, Mrs. Sidibé Dédéou Ousmane and her counterpart of Higher Education, Mr. Amadou Keita met this Tuesday, June 21, 2022, the Association of Pupils and Students of Mali. The meeting follows the last demands of the students in order to find suitable solutions. Minister Sidibé Dédéou Ousmane asked for a minute of silence in memory of those killed in the latest barbaric and inhumane attacks in the center of the country.
The discussions focused on a few points, in particular the question of infrastructure, the question of water in schools, the question of scholarships, lighting in schools, the supply of medicines to infirmaries. The learners made the trip in large numbers to exchange with the two personalities at the Ministry of National Education. These moments of fruitful exchanges made it possible to reassure them as to the good faith of the country’s high authorities in working towards a peaceful school. The head of the education department intends to count on everyone’s support for the smooth running of the school. The Secretary General of the AEEM, Siriman Niaré praised the pragmatism of the two ministers for having initiated this framework of exchanges. The Minister asked everyone to get involved to help the country recover. The two displacement leaders say they are aware of the pressing needs and intend to face the many challenges. Minister Sidibé Dédéou returned to the issue of water, which occupies a prominent place in the social works of the President of the Transition. Dozens of boreholes were donated to schools across the country. The meeting ended on a note of optimism.

Launch of the CAP exams
23,434 candidates for 76 centres, and 1,949 supervisors compete throughout the national territory.
The Minister of National Education, Mrs. Sidibé Dédéou Ousmane proceeded this Monday, June 20, 2022, to the launch of the tests of the Certificate of Professional Aptitude (CAP). Several leaders and actors of the Malian school including National Directors, the Director of the Academy, left bank or the President of the Association of Parents of Students took part. After the rise of the colors followed by the launch of the tests at the Lycée Technique de Bamako, the Head of the Education Department toured the examination rooms to encourage the candidates and provide them with advice.
The Lycée Technique center welcomes 601 candidates from the Accounting Assistant sector.
She called for more vigilance and foresight in order to effectively fight against cases of fraud. On the eve of the exams, Mrs. Sidibé Dédéou Ousmane met all of the school’s partners for their support / accompaniment to the smooth running of the tests.
