The program begins with the pink lighting of the Castillo de Mairena, on Thursday, October 7. It will be followed by the traditional information table at the market on Monday, October 18, and the commemorative event in the plenary hall of the town hall on Wednesday, October 20 at 7:30 p.m. The conference ‘Corrective makeup in oncology patients’ given by Dr. María Dolores García Puerta, will take place on October 25 at 6.30 p.m. in the assembly hall of the Villa of Knowledge and the Arts.
At the initiative of the World Health Organization, World Breast Cancer Day is commemorated every October 19 as a reminder of the commitment of the entire society in the fight against breast cancer and with the aim of promoting that more and more women have access to controls, diagnoses and treatments. Breast cancer is the most common tumor in Western women.
