For 99% of French people, this €4.99 mobile plan is a miracle

Changing your mobile plan is much less complicated than it seems. All you have to do is fill out a subscription form, ask for your RIO code (free, via an automatic number and voice) and proceed with the number transfer. The whole procedure is done online and in a few minutes. And it is non-binding.

MVNOs like Prixtel have perfectly optimized the online journey. As a bonus, the latter currently offers a mobile plan that is ultra advantageous. It will respond to almost all French people… and it only costs 4.99 euros per month. You can compare this amount with your current mobile bill, you risk having a real surprise.

For this price, the telecom operator is very generous. You will not only receive all unlimited calls, SMS and MMS (which has become the norm) but Prixtel also offers you 50 GB of mobile data per month. Clearly, this data price ratio is seen nowhere else. This is also the best offer at this MVNO for a very long time.

A 50 GB plan and an extension

This mobile plan called Le petit goes even further in generosity. Indeed, rather than bludgeoning you with out-of-package if you exceed 50 GB, the MVNO offers you a flexible formula. It has set up two levels of data which makes it possible to use, if necessary, more data at a contained price.

In detail, this package allows you to upgrade to 60 GB for a total of 7.99 euros per month. You also have the option of increasing to 70 GB for 9.99 euros per month. The operator therefore offers you three levels, each with a different price: depending on your real needs, you will be switched between one of the three levels. It is a 3-in-1 package whose price is calculated each month.

Month after month, you will therefore be billed according to your actual consumption. If by default, you always stay under 50 GB, then it will not cost you more than 4.99 euros per month. When we know that the French use on average between 10 and 30 GB per month, this formula should meet the majority of uses. This is all the more the case since it does not take into account the data used on Wi-Fi (office, home) and which is therefore not included here.

Prixtel is the only telecom operator to offer a mobile plan with a tiered system. In the end, everyone will therefore pay as close as possible to their use. It’s a level of customization that allows you to always pay the right price for your subscription. It stands out here from more traditional operators who are just trying to sell you more and more data at ever higher prices.

In addition to the data price ratio which is exceptional, this mobile plan is also very flexible. In this case, Prixtel does not ask you to make a long-term commitment: you are free to come and go whenever you want. Then, this package is carbon neutral: the MVNO offsets all CO2 emissions through various concrete partnerships. Finally, it gives you access to the SFR antenna network which offers 99% coverage of the population.

And what about the remaining 1% of French people?

If you have an exceptional use of data, there are two options at Prixtel. The first is a mobile plan which varies between 100 and 140 GB per month with always the same system of levels. By default, you will be on the smallest level at 100 GB which is sold at a price of 6.99 euros per month. Certainly, the data price ratio is excellent but it will only correspond to a small part of the users.

You can then climb to 120 GB for 9.99 euros per month or 140 GB for 12.99 euros. For those who want even more, the MVNO has an ultimate subscription. It must respond to 0.1% of French people at most. The minimum level is 140 GB for 9.99 euros monthly. You can go up two levels to reach 200 GB which is priced at 15.99 euros.

Admittedly, the price is rising but the data price ratio is always more aggressive. However, if you have no point in taking out such a substantial mobile data subscription, you have no reason to take it. In any case, the operator also allows you to switch from one mobile plan to another. If you see that the Le petit plan is too limited for you, you can migrate to the other offers.

Until Monday, January 28 in the evening, the MVNO Prixtel offers these preferential rates on its range. Once this deadline has passed, the price goes up and the associated data volume goes down. For example, the Le petit mobile plan generally offers 20 GB for the same rate. Note that the prices go up after the first year. It will then be necessary to count between 5 and 6 euros more for each of the levels, every month. This remains a very good subscription that directly competes with all the most recognized players.
