The Cairo Drinking Water Company said that water will be cut off in several areas of Cairo tomorrow, Friday, for a period of 5 hours due to the change of the intake and evacuation valves in the school’s lift pumps.
The company said that water is planned to be cut off from the streets: “Sheikh Saleh Al-Jaafari, Cairo Fatimiyah Hospital, Al-Mansouriya Street up to Al-Gamaleya Sector, and the Main Security and Special Operations Camp.”
It is also planned to cut water from: “The investigation department of the Central Security on Salah Salem Street, Dar Al-Iftaa, Al-Azhar Sheikhdom, Muhammad Abdo Street and its branches behind Al-Hussein Hospital, Al-Azhar University colleges behind Al-Hussein Hospital on Al-Azhar Street, Al-Hussein University Hospital, and Manshiyet Nasser area.
It is expected that the water will be cut off from one o’clock tomorrow morning, Friday, until six o’clock in the morning on the same day for a period of 5 hours.
The company called on bakery owners and hospitals in the aforementioned locations to meet their water needs during the outage.
The Cairo Water Company is to deliver drinking water in trucks which will be distributed free of charge in the affected areas.
