For 3000 euros your Dacia Duster looks like this, at least…

The Dacia Duster is not really a car that makes you shine or turn heads on the street. Until you get your Romanian budget SUV with this finery from German tuner Prior.

Last year the tuner already released images of the ‘Widebody Aero-Kit’ for the Duster, but now the decorations can really be ordered.

Budget tuning for Dacia Duster

It all starts with the Aero kit. When you purchase this, you will receive wheel arch extensions, side skirts, a front lip and a diffuser. A cheap car like the Duster also includes low budget tuning. The kit costs only 2995 euro. If you want to finish your Dacia Duster completely, you can also order a spoiler for 299 euros.

The kit is therefore relatively cheap, nevertheless the parts are made of Duraflex. This is relatively sturdy material and easy to provide a different color and is widely used in the tuning world.

Although you may expect that your Dacia Duster will look like the Duster in the photo after an investment of 3294 euros in tuning parts and some man hours, this is not the case.

Not quite as Prior suggests

Prior also gives the Romanian a double exhaust, approves the grille dark, paints the brake calipers red and lowers the SUV by a few centimeters. Not to mention the stabilizer bars and the giant wheels with wide tires, which will most likely cost more than the Widebody Aero-Kit itself.

Nevertheless, it is nice that Prior offers such a package for the decent Duster. The cheapest Dacia Duster (2018+) costs almost 14 mille in the Netherlands. Go for the ‘thickest’ version, the 1.3 TCe with 150 hp and 250 Nm, lower it yourself and screw the Prior body kit on it, and you do have a unique budget SUV. Although, budget… That party will probably cost about thirty grand.
