Footsteps of Fake Doctors, 11 Years of Indonesian Football Deception

Indonesian football has been tricked by fake doctors for 11 years. Since 2010 a figure named Elwizan Aminudin Or usually called Doctor Amin, he lied to clubs, league operators, to the federation PSSI.

Aminudin, who claims to be a graduate of the Faculty of Medicine, Syiahkuala University, Banda Aceh, in 2006 is known to have started playing football in 2010 with Persita Tangerang.

The man who was born in Bireun, Aceh on April 25, 1981, has devoted himself to the club called the Swordsman Cisadane until 2014.

In 2014 Aminudin was also summoned by PSSI to guard the U-19 Indonesian national team which will appear in the 2014 AFF Pre-Repatory tournament in Vietnam. Aminudin’s status in the national team was only seconded.

The following year Aminudin was contracted by PS TNI (now Tira Persikabo) when he appeared in the 2015 Sudirman Cup. After that, Aminudin proposed to Bali United, which was being cared for by Indra Sjafri.

The following season the man who also introduced himself as El Amin worked for Madura United. Soon he received an offer to handle a team from South Sumatra, Sriwijaya FC.

In 2018 Aminudin again had the opportunity to handle the U-19 Indonesian National Team. As before, Aminudin’s status was not fixed, he was only assigned to fill vacancies.

After that successively clubs from Kalimantan, Barito Putera and Kalteng Putra used his services. Finally, he joined PSS Sleman starting in 2021 to look at Liga 1 2021/2022.
