Footballer set to leave Al Nassr?

Recent reports have revealed growing tensions between two of Al Nassr’s highest-paid players, Sadio Mane and Cristiano Ronaldo.

Their feud could potentially signal a major change for the Senegalese star, who is considering leaving the Saudi league giants.

According to French sports media outlet “Foot Mercato”, the relationship between Sadio Mané and Cristiano Ronaldo has recently deteriorated, with disagreements becoming increasingly public.

According to the outlet, the problems between Mane and Ronaldo stem from issues on and off the pitch, which has led to the Senegalese star’s dissatisfaction as he now seeks to leave the club.

Ronaldo was recently furious with Mane and his teammates after their 4-1 humiliation by Al Hilal in the Saudi Super Cup final on Saturday, August 17, 2024.

Cristiano Ronaldo gave Al Nassr a 1-0 half-time lead before seeing his side completely collapse in the second half of the game.

Sadio Mane could potentially leave Al Nassr in the summer transfer window

Despite the growing friction, Mane has yet to receive an official offer from other clubs, although Al-Nassr management are said to be exploring options for his transfer.

Clubs such as Al-Ittihad have been mentioned as potential destinations for the former Liverpool star.

Mane’s move to Al-Nassr in the summer of 2023, after leaving Bayern Munich, was initially seen as a major coup for the Saudi Pro League side.

However, with his current contract running until the summer of 2026, any departure would likely involve complex negotiations, due to his high salary.
