The police have checked the naturalized footballer, Egwuatu Godstim Ouseloka aka OGG. Most recently, OGG was named a suspect.
“Currently we have identified the perpetrator as a suspect, and after conducting an investigation we have detained the perpetrator,” said Tangerang City Metro Police Chief Commissioner Zain Dwi Nugroho, in his statement to journalists, Thursday (21/12/2023).
Zain said Godstime Ouseloka or Godstime Olisa was charged with the persecution article as referred to in Article 351 paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
“The criminal threat is 7 (seven) years in prison,” said Zain.
Zain said that OGG was previously questioned by the police on December 19 2023. OGG was detained at the Tangerang City Metro Police after being reported by the victim.
“We (police) at the Tangerang City Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit have arrested the perpetrator on December 19 2023 after an investigation and search process for the perpetrator,” said Zain.
Viral on social media
Footballer incident Godstime Olisa slapping a man in Tangerang City went viral on social media. In the video circulating, the perpetrator and victim can be seen getting into an argument in the yard of a complex known to be located in Tangerang City.
Godstime Olisa initially got out of his car and approached the man in the black shirt. After that, he slapped the man twice.
It was narrated that the incident occurred because Ouseloka did not accept being reprimanded because his car had sideswiped the victim’s car. The two of them were involved in an argument.
Godstime Olisa left the location in her black car.
“You don’t seem polite, you don’t seem polite, do you,” said Ouseloka while slapping the victim.
“I’m waiting, sir slap I do,” said the man.
