One Messin, three Thionvillois and one Luxembourger took part in a scouting course this week organized by the Sporting Club de Bastia in the Var. Selected by Skander Aït Ouffroukh, scout recruiter from Grand Est for the Ile de beauté club, four players born in 2007 candidates for a place in the U17 national teams of the Corsican club: Evan Clerc of RS Magny, Jules Stebe, Abdelkader Merdji and Thomas Manfredi of the United States Thionville Lusitanos. A Luxembourg born in 2005, Selim Nadji (Bettembourg), took part in the away match at Le Craux, for a place in the Under 19 national team.
Three of them should be selected for an internship in Bastia during the February school holidays, among the 86 players present in the Var. Skander Aït Ouffroukh, president of USAG Uckange partner of SC Bastia, had also brought his senior team to Bastia last June for a week of preparation.
