One month after the re-election of Vincent Labrune as president of the Professional Football League (LFP), on September 10, for a new four-year term, it was the turn of the two vice-presidents to be elected.
The LFP office has appointed Jean-Pierre Caillot, the president of Reims and the Ligue 1 college, and Pablo Longoria, his counterpart at OM, as vice-president of the League, as announced by L ‘Team.

They will support the president re-elected in September, Vincent Labrune, on the many challenges that await him, including the reduction in TV rights, Ligue 1 audiences, piracy, the reform of the authorities and the recurrence of homophobic songs and fan incidents. The League’s disciplinary committee must also render its decision on Wednesday evening on the homophobic chants heard in the Auteuil stand at the Parc des Princes during the PSG – Strasbourg match.
At the same time, David Terrier, president of the UNFP, the players’ union, became secretary general of the LFP, and Pierre-Olivier Murat (president of Rodez) took the position of treasurer.
