Football Talk. Avenatti goes to PhD student Union – Ex-STVV competitor for Alderweireld? – Mike Trésor latest addition to Racing Genk | Football
Toby Alderweireld may get a former STVV player as a competitor at Tottenham. The English top club made an offer of 15 million euros for Takehiro Tomiyasu. The Japanese played in Limburg for a year and a half. In 2019 he went to Bologna for 9 million. In Serie A, he makes an excellent impression. (KTH)

KVO buys striker from Nancy and immediately lends him to French club
Mickaël Biron is on his way to KV Oostende. At least for a while – the 23-year-old striker, born in Martinique, is immediately loaned again to sister club AS Nancy. Both teams are owned by Pacific Media Group. Earlier this summer, Ostend also took over Kenny Rocha from Ligue 2 team Nancy. And also picked it up Thomas Basila from Nantes to place him immediately with Nancy. That’s not all: KVO striker Mamadou Thiam will be rented out to the club from Alsace this year. Talk about a close collaboration. (TTV)

Another new transfer for PhD student Union. The people of Brussels announced the arrival of none other than Felipe Avenatti on Friday afternoon. The 28-year-old Uruguayan was leased by Standard to Antwerp last season and this season the people of Liège are also lending the attacker, who caused a furore in Belgium at KV Kortrijk. Genk brings Mike Trésor back to Belgium
Racing Genk strengthens itself with the left wing attacker, Mike Trésor Ndayishimiye. The 22-year-old Belgian exchanges Willem II for the vice-champion of Belgium. Trésor received his youth training at Anderlecht, but left for NEC there in 2018. A year later, the club from Nijmegen leased Trésor to Willem II, who took him over permanently after the loan. Last season, he scored four goals and provided eleven assists in 34 games in the Eredivisie. Trésor has to compete with Théo Bongonda at Genk on the left, if he stays in the Luminus Arena. Trésor will take his medical tests in the coming days, after which the deal can be officially announced. (KDZ)
After the defenders Jesper Daland (IK Start) and Senna Miangue (Cagliari), Cercle Brugge now also brings in reinforcements for the attacking compartment. The 25-year-old wing attacker Waldo Rubio Marin comes from the Spanish Real Valladolid. Rubio is mainly a left winger, but can also operate as a deep striker. He previously played for Recreativo Huelva and Cordoba, where Valladolid took him away in 2018. He played 45 matches in the Spanish second division. Cercle now hires Rubio from Real Valladolid for one season with an option for a permanent purchase. (LUVM)
