Tablet-Smasher Tom Brady?
The equipment of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost out to American football player Thomas Edward Patrick “Tom” Brady Jr. He threw it around on the sideline. If you take a closer look, however, the video recordings show an already broken tablet. What happened before cannot be seen, but it would be quite exciting.
Microsoft: Advertising and Equipment Rights
The NFL players and coaches have been using Microsoft Surface tablets for analysis during games since 2014. Microsoft paid the NFL millions of dollars for the exclusive advertising and equipment rights. They are now obliged to use the devices. As The Verge reported, however, many referred to the tablets as “iPad” in early interviews. Microsoft probably didn’t like it any more than did Tom Brady the defeat.
