Football prosecutor: He launched a new prosecution against Alexis Kouya – 2024-04-02 14:27:48

The deputy football prosecutor Nikolaos Margaritis brought a new disciplinary action against Alexis Kougia for what happened in the episodic game of Corinth against Panargeiakos.

The EPO announcement in detail:

“The Deputy Head of Disciplinary Prosecutions for Football Offenses, Deputy Prosecutor Nikolaos Margaritis, brought Disciplinary Prosecution against: a) Alexios Kougias and, b) the association “PAS Korinthos”.

The Disciplinary Prosecution is brought because on 16-3-2024 in Corinth, where the football match between the teams PAS Corinth – Panargeiakos was held in the context of the 27th match of the 3rd National Division, Alexios Kougias:

1) as an official of the “PAS Korinthos” team, he violated the ban on entering the playing field and the changing rooms imposed on him (No. 12/2024 decision of the EPO Appeals Committee). The union is objectively responsible for non-observance of the aforementioned prohibition.

2) as an official of the “PAS Korinthos” team who did not have the right to be present on the playing field and in the dressing room, before the start of the match he behaved abusively towards spectators and officials of the “Panargiakos” team.

The above actions are provided for and punished disciplinary by the provisions of articles 1, 2, 11§§7,8, 12§1 in cond. with no. 11§2 and with no. 10§1 item b, 26 of the E.P.O.’s Disciplinary Code.”
