The former Juve, now in Barcelona, infected by Covid: “I’m fine but let’s be careful”
–
ROME. Barcelona has another positive at Covid and it is Miralem Pjanic. The former Juve player was on vacation in Sardinia and, the blaugrana club said, had some minor annoyances: subjected to the test which confirmed that the new signing of the Catalans contracted the virus. On social media the Bosnian, in recent days, had posted some of his photos from Porto Cervo. Pjanic is still doing well and is isolated at home where he will have to spend the next two weeks: he will miss the first training sessions of Koeman’s new Barca which will begin on August 31st. After quarantine, Pjanic will join the rest of the companions. The 30-year-old Bosnian moved to Barcelona after four years with Juventus.
“Fortunately I’m fine and asymptomatic – the player wrote on social media – But if there is one thing I have learned is that we should never take anything for granted, not even the things we consider most routine. The life we are living now is teaching us that. We respect the rules and be careful without panicking. (HANDLE).
