Football: Meling back to face Lille, Cubas operational, Briançon and Miguel absent

Meling who takes Miguel’s place: compared to the derby against Montpellier, this is the only change in the crocodile group that will challenge the leader Lille on Sunday March 21. The doubt that existed on the presence of Cubas was removed during the last training.

To face Lille on Sunday March 21 (5:05 p.m.), Olympic Nimes recovers Meling, his suspension match purged. Unsure because of a thigh pain felt this week in training, Cubas is operational. The test taken during the last training session, this Saturday morning, was conclusive.

Concussion protocol for Miguel

Hit in the head after a shock with Laborde, in the derby against Montpellier, defender Miguel was not selected, concussion protocol requires. The defender, who is doing well and is training separately, will take new exams at the beginning of next week to get the green light to resume collective sessions. Miguel’s absence is made up for by Meling’s return. This is the only change in Pascal Plancque’s group compared to the players who took part in the derby.

Briançon and Aribi in the re-athletic phase

Briançon (hamstring) and Aribi (ankle) are in the re-athletic phase. Martinez (knee) and Sarr (calf) are still out. Ben Amar (cut to the knee) is also on the side. Valerio and Chadli, present at the last training this Saturday, were not called.
