Football – LDN: A clean sheet for Haiti

By Douby Jean

For the beginning of September, the Haitian selection played its first matches in League B of the Concacaf Nations League. Without too many surprises, Haiti mastered its two opponents for 10 goals scored and only one conceded.

It is clear that the national eleven has not faltered during its last two outings. First, it beat Puerto Rico (4-1) after being behind. Against Sint Maarten, the situation was even easier. A clear and flawless victory. Enough to confirm the return to form of the national team which offered itself a flawless performance.

During these confrontations, the blue and red did not have the best start. Against Puerto Rico, they were behind in the score and against Sint Maarten, they only slammed one. Maybe at each break, Sébastien Migné finds the perfect speech to boost his team. Each time they come back from the locker room, the tempo is different. The Puerto Ricans have taken 4 and Sint Maarten has conceded a manita.

The goal remains the same, Haiti wants to return to League A as soon as possible. To do this, it must keep up its pace or set the bar even higher.
