Kassel – The roller coaster ride has come to an end. The KSV Hessen Kassel rises to the Regionalliga Südwest.

This decision was made by the game committee and the general assembly in the evening.

They decided that the season should be stopped, Saarbrücken should move up to the 3rd division, there were no relegations – but four promoters. In addition to the champions Eintracht Stadtallendorf, the VfB Stuttgart II and the TSV Schott Mainz, this is also the KSV Hessen.

As the lions themselves had suggested, the quotient rule between the three second leagues from Hesse, Rhineland-Palatinate / Saar and Baden-Württemberg was used to determine the fourth climber. KSV Hessen is ahead of the competition with a quotient of 2.14.

After two years in the Hessen League, KSV has now returned to the fourth-highest German division at the Green Table.
