Two Swiss leave this Saturday at the end of the day to assault Manchester United: central defender Timm Klose and striker Josip Drmic, who both play in Norwich City, are preparing to challenge the Red Devils in quarterback English Cup final (kick-off at 6.30 p.m.).
If the presence of ManU at this stage of the competition is not a surprise, Norwich is less used to this honor: the yellow and green “Canaries” find themselves in the quarterfinals of the Cup for the first time in 28 years. In the 8th final, they went to win on penalties on Tottenham’s lawn (1-1 ap. 3-2 tab).

The moment will also be special for Timm Klose. The 32-year-old central defender, who was seriously injured at the end of August 2019 (rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament of the knee), returned to competition just before the interruption due to the Covid-19 pandemic . Since the recovery, he has regained his place at the center of the defense – sometimes with the captain’s armband.
Norwich City would also like to be able to count on the second Swiss of its workforce, striker Josip Drmic (27), who had equalized for his club at Tottenham. We wrote “would like” because Drmic was slightly affected on Wednesday in the closing minutes of the game against Everton (0-1 loss).
Drmic is therefore not sure whether he can start the match. “He is indeed uncertain, confirmed his coach Friday at a press conference. We will wait until the last moment before making a decision about it. ”

Even if, for Klose, Drmic and the “Canaries”, the main objective of the season is the maintenance in the Premier League – which seems well compromised, Norwich being last in the classification at six points of first non-relegation -, they all want to strike a blow against the boys of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, who have been unbeaten for thirteen matches, all competitions combined.
